I plan to start a new series of posts in my blog in which I would be interviewing people, those who were among us and made it big in their lives, those who can take you onto the next step of your lives, those who can inspire you .
“Ladies & Gentlemen !! Behold, for you are now to witness the genesis of a fine series of interviews”
Alright, now the fun part. Please, suggest a name for my interview series.
This series is partly inspired by
- http://coffeewithsundar.com/ A blog in which Sundar talks to wonderful people and grabs all their experiences and weaves it into a well-written post.
- http://www.pureblogging.com/2008/05/16/the-greatest-interviewing-tip-youll-never-want-to-use/ This was the post which brought out the itch inside me.
I need your suggestions guys…
Since you live in KGP, one can start by attending all those seminars(you know- the ECell ones).
You can also buttonhole random profs and interview them. Sorry I can’t help you in that one as they all hate me.
One can also interview fellow KGPians.
The thing is that your reach is small. You need to grab whatever comes your way. Then maybe someday your blog will be uber famous and people will like to be interviewed.
And how about putting excerpts from interviews by other people and even fictional interviews?
The guys whose interviews I would be interested in:
Firangis: Jay Leno, South Park creators, Numa Numa guy
Indian: Suketu Mehta, Amitav Ghosh, JHumpa Lahiri(ahes damn hot), That tiger dude(some thapar), etc.
And yeah, try to bow down to normal people. The non high flyers one. They may have something to say.
